Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen was founded in 1972 in New Orleans by Al Copeland. What started as a single fried chicken restaurant quickly evolved into Popeyes, a brand defined by its bold Cajun-inspired flavors, hand-battered chicken, and signature sides like red beans and rice, Cajun fries, and buttermilk biscuits. Today, Popeyes operates over 3,700 restaurants across 30+ countries. Dream Foods USA operates two Popeyes locations in New Jersey. These are food court format locations that serve the full Popeyes menu within two of New Jersey’s highest-performing enclosed malls.
